On the background of new course innovation and three-grade curriculum management carried into execution, curriculum leadership in school lever is a new research and practice field, So preschool leaders have to undertake the important responsibility of curriculum leadership. This paper explores the current situation of preschool leader's curriculum leadership through both quantitative and qualitative method. Based on the research the author proposes the improving strategies.Firstly, On the basis of arrangement and analysis of document data, this paper proposes the connotations and dimensionalities of curriculum leadership which is the rudiments of current research situation. Preschool leader's curriculum leadership is a process of improving the preschool curriculum quality by the influence between the curriculum team. The connotations of Preschool leader curriculum leadership include four key points: 1 The first person liable of curriculum leadership is preschool leader; 2 The foundation is curriculum team; 3 The essence is a comprehensive and unitary influence power; 4 The goal is pursuing a high quality preschool curriculum. The dimensionalities include five points: 1 Curriculum professional technical leadership; 2 Curriculum leadership of organization structure; 3 Curriculum leadership of teachers; 4 Curriculum leadership of organizational culture; 5 Curriculum leadership of public relations.Secondly, this paper researches the current situation of preschool leader's curriculum leadership by questionnaires. The results show that: On the aspects of current situation, preschool leaders are good at the conception of curriculums and child learning generally, but they have objection on teacher and curriculum leadership. The objection presents on the behaviors. On the curriculum professional technical leadership, the preschool leaders pay more attention to curriculum practices than curriculum plan,design and evaluation; On the curriculum leadership of organization structure, they pay more attention to the internal operation than curriculum organization format; On the curriculum leadership of organizational culture, they pay more attention to humanism culture than scene culture,research culture and cooperative culture; On the curriculum leadership of teachers, they pay more attention to teacher's curriculum ability than inspirring the curriculum willing of teacher; On the curriculum leadership of public relations, they pay more attention to experts' opinions than the communication and cooperation with community, family,superiors and other kindergartens. The reason why preschool leaders report causing inferior curriculum leadership is that no enough time, the limit of teacher's ability, the deficiency of kindergarten funds and equipments, the deficiency of professional quality of themselves and kindergarten culture resisting curriculum reformation. In the factors which affects the behaviors of preschool leader's curriculum leadership, the environment where leaders work in effects greatly and the leaders themselves affects less. In fact, teacher's ability funds and equipments and kindergarten culture are effected by outer environment greatly.Thirdly, this paper collects case situation of preschool leader's curriculum leadership by the method of participation and observation. A large number case data show the concrete manifestation of curriculum leadership's implements. One hand, it embody out the reality displayed by questionnaires, on the other hand, it proposes many leadership strategies which can be used for reference.Lastly, according to the inferior manifestation of preschool leaders, this paper proposes some suggestions to preschool leaders and higher authorities: innovating ideas of curriculum leadership, improving preschool leaders' curriculum leadership and improving the curriculum environment of preschool leaders. Though the curriculum leadership cannot promote in short time, it make a good start to the discovery and attention of the question.
