The Investigation And Intervention Research On The College Students' Career Self-efficacy

This paper consists of two parts:theoretical study and empirical study. In theoretical study, the concepts and influence factors of career self-efficacy, the research actuality of home and abroad, the research direction are concluded. In empirical study, it revises the Career Self-efficacy Scale, investigates the actuality of college students'career self-efficacy, and the intervention to it are made. Through studies, several conclusions are drawn:1. The reliability, validity and other psychometrics indexes of the revised Career Self-efficacy Scale are satisfactory. It can be used to investigate the actuality of college students'career self-efficacy.2. There are great significant gender differences on the choice of traditional-female-dominated occupation and traditional-male-dominated occupation.3. There are differences between students who come from villages and students who come from county seats and middling cities on their traditional-female-dominated occupation career self-efficacy. The differences rely on the self-efficacy of "educational request".4. There are great significant differences on the choice of traditional-female-dominated occupation and traditional-male-dominated occupation among students who have different academic background.5. The career self-efficacy of university students is higher than the technological academy students'.6. The career self-efficacy of juniors is higher than the sophomores'.7. Group guidance is an effective intervention method. It can heighten students' career self-efficacy who join the guidance. Thereinto, it heightens the self-efficacy of "educational request" significantly.
