In order to alleviate the employment pressure for college students, colleges adopt many measures such as offering career-planning courses, organizing various career activities and so on. College career education emerges at the right moment. However, does career education really satisfy the career demand as well as effectively promote career decision-making self-efficacy for college students and make them confront the career challenge in future with full self-confidence? With respect to career decision-making self-efficacy, domestic and foreign researchers have been done a lot of researches such as intervention studies, theoretical studies and investigation studies. Certain college students in Wuhan colleges and universities are chosen to be the sample of the study in which questionnaire as the primary method while interviewing as the assistant method are employed and current situation of career education as well as career decision-making self-efficacy along with its influencing factors for college students are analyzed.Research results are as follows:(1) Gender as well as institution type is related to attention to career education for college students, and totality can be inferred by sample; gender, institution type as well as monthly income of parents is related to whether attending career education curriculum or activities, and totality can be inferred by sample; institution type as well as monthly income of parents is related to gains through attending career education, and totality can be inferred by sample.(2) Career decision-making self-efficacy as well as various dimensionality for college students exist notable variance among factors which include whether class committee members or not, different grades, different majors and different household income.(3) For college students who pay different attention to career education, attend career education curriculum or activities or not and have different gains through attending career education, their career decision-making self-efficacy exists notable variance.(4) Career decision-making self-efficacy as well as various dimensionality for college students exist notable variance among different influncing degrees of factors which include career education curriculum or activities of college, counsellors and vocational counseling teachers, friends or schoolmates, folks or relatives and employment terrains by self-evaluation of college students.(5) Whether class committee members or not, monthly income of parents, attention to career education and gains through attending career education, have certain forecast function of career decision-making self-efficacy as well as various dimensionality for college students.On the basis of analysis results above as well as combining with the current situation for college career education, corresponding suggestions for career education are raised separately in this research, in order to improve career decision-making self-efficacy of college students. The suggestions are as follows: firstly, improving career consciousness for college students and realizing career education in advance; secondly, aiming at different dimensions of career decision-making self-efficacy, improving college career education roundly; thirdly, taking advantage of the sources of self-efficacy to improve career decision-making self-efficacy for college students; fourthly, paying close attention to different demographic variables and carrying out career education definitely; fifthly, consolidating previous performances and making career education abundant in content as well as diversify in form.
