After 10-year development, Independent Colleges have become an important component of Chinese higher education. Although the overall development of Independent Colleges is healthy, the uncertainty of objective in training students still prevails universally. As an independent college, ZiJin College's objective of traning students also has some problems. At the same time, the curriculum, as the measure to achieve the set objective, is not very reasonable also.This thesis starts with the source of objective of trainning students, which is influenced by national needs, social needs, experts' suggestion, the orientation of college and students' reality. By analyzing and summarizing, the thesis gets that ZiJin's objective of training students, of which intension is deeply analyzed in this paper, should face to regional economic, servicing in the forefront of production and management, and stuedents with high technology applications quality when they graduate. The author analyzes the objective of other schools for understanding ZiJin College's better, and grasps the orientation of the objective by contrast. According to the has-been-made objective, the author implements the objective from updating concept of managers, exploring their own curriculum, optimizing the quality of teachers, reforming the teaching materials and exploring students work. Finally theobjective of training students will be put into practice in the core area——curriculum. Fromthe level of curriculum-planning, the author analyses ZiJin's existing curriculum, and finds some insufficient by comparing, then proposes some suggestions for the curriculum reforming in the end of the paper.
