The disciplines structure and layout relate to the overall development and function of universities .It influences the quality specification,the type that the talented person trains directly, relating to the research and the creative ability and the level, and ultimately affect the realization of the school's development goals. Since 2003, the national university setted off the boom of the high-quality courses construction . So far, there has been building the 1,139 national-level courses , a large number of provincial-level high-quality courses and school-level high-quality courses. In this paper, the state-level high-quality courses of science and engineering university are discussed on the distribution from perspective of subject structure.Firstly, the full text analyzed of high- quality courses distribution of science and engineering university between the years 2003 and 2006, and then, selected ten key science and engineering universities and conducted a detailed analysis .Summarized characteristics of disciplines distribution of high-quality courses of science and engineering university and found some problems. Such as, the gap between arts and science disciplines of high-quality curriculum and the engineering curriculum is too far , interdisciplinary field of cross-subject is limited and characteristics are not obvious, and so on.This article holds that the reasons of the unreasonable distribution of high-quality courses of science and engineering university are school's operation mismatching, weak foundation of arts and science disciplines and hampered of interdisciplinary curriculum constructing. These factors restricted the development and reasonable distribution of high-quality courses . The necessity for adjusts the distribution of high-quality courses is that discipline is an element of university to accomplish the university, so that the development of academic disciplines have staying power. We must pay attention to the reasonable discipline structure formation. high-quality courses are strong disciplines in schools, Their reasonable distribution and improving their level are linked closely. It is not only the key to rapid and sustainable development, but also the key to improve the quality. According to these reasons, this paper proposed some measures on adjustment of high-quality courses distribution of science and engineering university, establishing concepts of related disciplines coordinated development at the high-level, focus on the symbiotic effect of relevant disciplines and create a good environment for cross-disciplinary courses to grow.
