The reform and innovation of Physical Education (simply called PE) teaching model and the improvement of teaching quality are the higher requirements for PE teaching innovation in order to implement the existing quality education and the"Health First"teaching ideology. The previous sports teaching models have different conceptions and diversifications which puzzle teachers. They have on idea about the appropriate selection of various PE teaching models, which severely affects the development of college PE.The paper first interviews the opinions of many experts and scholars on the concept of PE teaching models and re-identifies its concept. By expounding the integration of PE teaching model with science education, humanities education and health education, the paper proposes the construction of new PE teaching model integrated with science, humanities and health education and identifies the educational conception of new PE teaching model based on"The Decision of CPC Central Committee and State Council on Deepening Education Reform and Comprehensively Improving the Quality Education"and"The Physical Education Teaching Program Guidance for National Universities": to cultivate the international, integrated comprehensive and harmonious talents with specific scientific spirit, humanistic spirit, and health awareness. Then the paper explores the guiding ideology, theoretical foundation, teaching objectives, teaching methods, manipulation procedures and evaluation system to construct more complete and scientific teaching model, which will facilitate the teaching practice of PE workers and contribute to the innovation of college physical education.
