Physics of senior high school is systematic and specialized science. Better observing, experiment and thinking ability was need to learn it, so it is difficulty to learn for most of senior high school students, especial for girl-students because of their feeling, thinking, language, sensibility, volition, interest, temperament and character. Study on the reasons of the difficulty can help girls learn physics better, and achieve the purpose of quality education that makes progress on all aspects for all students.With qualitative and quantitative research methods, mainly using a lot of interview and questionnaire, the difficulty and its reason of physics learning for the senior high school girl-students of the Guangzhou TieYi High School and the Guangzhou Panyu Dongchong High School were studied in this thesis. It was found though interview that the difficulty on girl-students' physics learning of high schools included:1,Do not well in physical question analyzing;2,Do not understand the physical concept, rule and formula profoundly, and just remember and apple of copy mechanically;3,Can not judge the physical scene; 4,Having difficulty in mastery procedural knowledge.From a thinking perspective, the reason of these difficulties was probed through questionnaire research and the results indicated that:1,Senior schoolgirls are good at physics visualize thinking, but bad at abstract thinking, and not good at instinctive thinking and behavioral thinking;2,Girl students are good at physics visualize thinking, while boy students are good at abstract thinking. It is different on thinking type not on thinking level;3,Girl students are not as good as boy students in operational thinking, but there exist no difference in instinctive thinking;4,Bad analytical capability for physics problem is the prominent factor to effect physics learning of girl-students. Meanwhile, it was found that girls of grade 2 was better than grade 1 in visualize thinking and abstract thinking, but there existed no diversity in instinctive thinking and behavioral thinking. It was also deduced that girls of excellent school were more excellent than that of common school in abstract thinking, visualize thinking and instinctive thinking, but there existed no difference in behavioral thinking.The a coefficient of questionnaire used in this research is 0.782 which indicated that the thinking questionnaire for physics learning thinking is unsuspecting.In order to help girl students to learn physics better, some suggestions were put forwarded at last, according to the investigation, thinking psychology, educational methodology and the character of physics, such as strengthen the experiment training to increase operational ability, improving analysis capability, using different teaching ways for different students. And improving nutrition and more exercise can also be helpful for girl students to improve thinking ability.
