Physics is an experimental discipline, the most laws expressed by physics are obtained by experiment, that is a large amount of experiments are carried out through observation, data obtaining and processing, the brilliant use of the mathematical tools, and finally the law is educed from a large amount of data. Important experiment results can often update physical concepts and impact directly on the scientific and technological progress. From this we can see the importance of the physical experiments in physics teaching, therefore, experiment plays an important role in the study of physics, master physical laws, and explore the laws of physics.With the rapid development of modern science and technology, especially the computer technology, the computer-aid physical experiment teaching has a broad application in simulating the process and demonstrating the principle of the experiment, processing the data , controlling the experiment, measuring , and so on. This also powerfully advances the pace of the experimental teaching reform. In the computer-aid physical experiment teaching, the physical experiment software plays an important role, which is a breakthrough in the educational reform. At present, the physical experiment software needs badly developing, the design pattern of the software is varied, and the quality is uneven. Therefore, the pattern exploration of physical experiment software is becoming more important.In the research of the pattern exploration of physical experiment software, this paper first studied the current design pattern, and summed up several physical experiment software which mainly used at present as follows: Text Input -, animation / video-, Geometric mapping - and Tools -. On this basis, this paper proposes two kinds of physical experiment software developing model, one is to establish a 3D simulation intelligent platform with experiment itself as the objective unit and the other is to establish a 3D simulation intelligent platform with the element of the experiment as the objective unit. According to these two developing model, the project of realization is also proposed. Technologically, we use the object-oriented design pattern method, with Visual C++ as the development platform, and uses OpenGL to realize the three dimensional simulation.Aside from the essential physical experiment and the setting of the equipment attribute, the system also provides such functions as generating experiment report, exporting and demonstrating experiment data, storing and restoring experiment scene, thus can well meet the needs of middle school teachers and students in their teaching and learning.
