| High school Oxford English text has been used for many years, which brings much shock to high senior high school English teaching, especially for the change of teaching purpose, teaching conception and teaching methods. New demands are put forward for High school English teaching. This paper starts from the introduction the current situation of English teaching and its process and reform trend in our country. Next, it employs teaching theories of high school English for the exploration of major factors that influence high school English teaching. Then, through such methods as class observation and teacher interview the paper analyzes the existing questions in high English teaching. At last, a questionnaire survey is conducted for examining the service situation of task and project and corresponding strategies are come up with for the benefit of promoting English teaching.This paper uses the methods of material searching, observation, interview etc. to sort and arrange some problems existing in high English teaching, and draws a conclusion of the factors that influences high English teaching. At the same time, conduct practical study.The innovation of this thesis is making Task and Project that are generally neglected the focus of study and put forward unique solution of these two parts. The original purpose of this paper is to explore the problems that exist and look for the solution to the problems. Hope this study could promote the English teaching develop in the right direction. In the last part of the paper is the result of the paper, that is, under new curriculum criteria, traditional class teaching idea should be changed, and human teaching mode should be adopted. At the same time, four factors-teachers, students, contents and environment should be combined together to set up a system management mode of class teaching,under the guidance of the New Curriculum Standard.
