| The paper reviews the cultivation of the scientific literacy at home and abroad as well as the history and status quo of environmental associations. Access to information,this paper finds out the scientific literacy of the status quo of the public.a research is done to 16 senior grade one classes of 8 Nantong high schools through a survey conducted with the self-made questionnaire. It shows that secondary school students have a certain degree of scientific knowledge; at the same time, they are lacking in understanding of the basic scientific methods and process .Therefore, their basic concepts of science need to be strengthened. The approaches to improving the scientific literacy among secondary school students have been put forward.Research has been done on the establishment of the communities, the role of the formation, as well as associations'activities. Explore and practice how to use environmental protection activities to help secondary school students to learn science knowledge and skills, to develop scientific methods and innovative spirit, the scientific spirit and scientific attitude, to improve scientific literacy among high school students as well. |
