Graduate students, especially high-older masters, and doctoral student, is the major component of the research groups of China's colleges and universities. On one hand, they are learners; But on the other hand, is the researcher, Shoulder the responsibility of scientific and technological innovation. An excellent research team is bound to create a favorable growth environment conditions for graduate students. Research teams have the responsibility and obligation to create conditions for the development of graduate students. According to the graduate students of special needs , and make full use of incentive strategy, mobilize Graduate self-learning and self-development,Independent actively engaged in scientific research, is One of the important contents of University research teams.Based on this reality, this study selected Mechanical research teams of Huazhong University of Science and Technology School as a case, With on-site observation, interviews and other methods to gather information, Based on the material summarized analysis of the formation adapted to the eight postgraduate incentive strategy. On this basis, the combination of management, psychology, sociology of motivation theory, Eight of the strategy for further analysis, so as to construct adapted to the incentive graduate theoretical model.Construction of the Graduate Incentive theoretical models including external incentive and internal incentive. External incentives include three aspects:According to the basic needs of life, design material incentives;Working design characteristics required to make work challenging and self-management incentives;Based on respect for the social research design team of the day-to-day management of the laboratory, emotional incentives and non-management incentives. Internal incentives include: individual achievement motivation, and career planning phase integration and academic training in three aspects,satisfy Graduate personal achievements, growth and development needs.
