Sixthly, it contributes to achieving the moral consensus of college students. Seventhly, it contributes to regulating college students' behavior. Finally, it contributes to improving college students' personalities.The first step to the harmonious campus culture is to examine the problems in the present campus culture construction which can be summarized as follows. Firstly, the construction of material culture outweighs that of spiritual culture. Secondly, campus culture is more utilitarian than instructive. Thirdly, the staff of the college has various understanding of campus culture. Fourthly, the construction of campus culture is merely a means of ideological and political Education. Fifthly, the college administration pays little attention to the construction of campus culture. Finally, insufficient fund prevents campus culture from more advancement.On the one hand, campus culture is the best way of ideological and political education for college students; on the other hand, ideological and political education sets the value orientation for the construction of campus culture. The shared concept of them is to cultivate college students with the priority of moral education.To advance and improve ideological and political education for college students, more efforts must be made concerning the following functions of campus culture. In the construction of campus culture, we should embody the spirit of our time and stick to the principle of "people foremost and scientific development" .The function of campus culture in ideological and political education is concluded in the following ways.
