It makes good use of neighboring communities and schools, curriculum resources, based on the school, led by headmasters, supported by teachers, guided by curriculum experts, and participated by students, parents and people from communities, the school-based curriculum which is free for students' own choice is planed, designed, developed, implemented and managed from down top through open, democratic, and scientific decisions. The development of this school-based curriculum is based on national education guideline, national and local curriculum plan and our school's education philosophy as well as the students' requirement and the present available curriculum resources in our school. It takes the differences between areas, schools, teachers, and students into consideration to satisfy the development of students different personality and teachers' professionalism. It enables our school's teaching characteristic to stand out, integrate and complement national and local curriculums. It emphasis school base, which adequately respects and satisfies the special personality and differences between students as well as teachers, especially satisfies students where national and local curriculum fail. It emphasizes student-centered teaching process, and the construction of the teaching contents in line with students' life and development, creating opportunities for students' participation. It emphasizes the practice, and actively advocates independent, cooperative and research-oriented studying method, insists learning through doing, thinking while learning, putting forward questions, collecting materials analyzing, thinking, making conclusions, thus improving students' Chinese ability and realizing the development of students' personality. It also attaches great importance to teaching scenes, the process and result of interaction between teachers and students, which embodies the idea of human first with great attention to personality.
