As an excellent traditional Chinese culture,couplets have unique requirements for the use of language and characters.The use of couplets in Chinese teaching in junior high schools is helpful to the development of Chinese curriculum resources.This article intends to run through the couplets in all aspects of Chinese teaching,so that the Chinese classroom is full of literature,and at the same time consciously takes the cultivation of Chinese core literacy as the purpose of practice,and improves students’ language,thinking,culture,aesthetics,etc.in the training and application of couplets.four qualities.First of all,in order to ensure the scientific nature of the research,sort out from the two aspects of Chinese core literacy and couplet teaching,combine the teaching of couplets to analyze the four dimensions of Chinese core literacy,and sort out the couplet sentences in the junior high school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education,in order to improve the quality of Chinese teaching in junior high schools.Conduct couplet practice to find the matching point.Secondly,using the method of questionnaire survey and interview,the teachers and students of a middle school in Jingzhou City were used as the objects of the survey and interviews to further understand the current situation of teaching couplets in the field of Chinese teaching in junior high schools and the learning of couplets in Chinese textbooks.Statistical analysis of data and materials leads to the following conclusions: the students in a middle school in Jingzhou City have limited ability to create and express couplets,the school carries out few activities related to couplets,the teaching methods of teachers are solidified and the evaluation methods are single when teaching couplets.The reasons can be summarized as the following four points: the dominant influence of exam-oriented education,the neglect of the educational value of couplet teaching,the imperfect evaluation system of couplet teaching,and the influence of teachers’ teaching style on students’ hobbies.Finally,based on this,an optimization strategy is put forward.In the teaching content of couplets,in-class textbooks are the main content,and extracurricular resources are supplemented;Combining to enhance the artistry and fun of couplet teaching;build an evaluation system on couplet teaching evaluation,and conduct multi-angle,multi-subject,and multi-form evaluation methods to ensure that core literacy is implemented in couplet teaching.
