Comprehensive learning activity is important to improve the composition teaching of junior middle school nowadays there are some problems in traditional composition teaching. But higher requests are brought up in Chinese course standard of junior middle school. How to solve the problems? I think the best way is that combining teaching. In this way, we can break the old pattern: set a question→guide before writing→cornet and mark. What is more, we can respect the student individualities. Let them observe to think, choose material. They will have enough time if we do like this. Our students will not be afraid to write a composition and their writing levels will improve.In my paper, I elaborate the basic link of compositions teaching, the features of four kinds of compositions and the operation modes, according to the features of comprehensive learning activity and composition teaching. I take looking for the trail of spring for example and explain my points of view. Finally I set out the effect that comprehensive learning activity will give an impetus composition teaching.
