High school is a key stage in person's career development road. Whether to make an appropriate decision-making career will affect their life-long career development and happiness in the face of subjects choices, professional choices and career options. The purpose of this study is to produce a set of group career counseling blue print for high school students and to test the impact to their career maturity, with a view to exploring a set of group career counseling blue print applied for full-time high school students to promote their career development.The establishment of the group career counseling blue print for high school goes through three steps: First, combining the gathered information of high school students' career maturity and the experiences of group career counseling for college students, the researcher produced a preparation group career counseling blue print on; Second, we put the pre-counseling blue print into practice to test its feasibility and effectiveness; Finally, a formal group career counseling blue print was formed.The experimental design of fore-and-aft measure was adopted in this research. The researcher recruited 60 subjects from the high school students who meet the standards through open recruitment. One half was randomly selected as experimental members. The others were the controlled group. The experimental group accepted eight times of group career counseling lasting for 22 hours. The controlled group did not accept any counseling.Instruments of the study included Secondary School Students Career Maturity Inventor, effect evaluation Inventory for Group Career Counseling, Leading efficiency evaluation Inventory for Group leader, Group Member Self evaluation Inventory. After the post-test, the leader conducted a career planning seminars for the controlled group to meet the requirements of ethics. Two months later, the experimental group accepted follow-up evaluation. The results indicated that:(1) The implementation of the career counseling can significantly improved the high school students' the knowledge of career world, professional self-knowledge, initiative, self-confidence, utilitarian nature.(2) The implementation of career counseling for high school students can not improve the independence and stability significantly. The blue print needs further improvement.(3) Group career counseling has a long-term effect on improving career maturity of high school students.(4) After refined and revised, this blue print can be popularized and applied in career counseling of high school.
