One of the basic ideas of the new round of vocational education language curriculum reform is to combine with the speciality and to strengthen the contact with Chinese language teaching and the speciality learning of students and to serve for students'learning. In line with this basic idea, according to training objectives of secondary vocational schools, the author reflects the status quo of Chinese language teaching for vocational secondary tourism students and puts forward that Chinese language teaching for vocational secondary tourism students should reflect both the characteristics of vocational education and the characteristics of Chinese language subject. The author also puts forward the strategy of Chinese language teaching for vocational secondary tourism students: to highlight its practical using, to meet the needs of tourism; to stress the practice, to approach the professional activities of tourism; to form a evaluation system with the combination of professional Chinese language teaching.In the study, the author takes the literature approach, case approach and action research approach and absorbs the experience of some relevant Chinese language teaching and then attempts to improve tourism professional Chinese language teaching in combination with the author's own teaching practice for providing a positive and useful idea.
