Research On The Space Distribution Of Badminton Gymnasium In Xi'an

With the approach of the economic globalization, the sports industry in the world developed rapidly after the 1984 Olympic Games held in Los Angelis. Meanwhile, it also quickens the pace of the sports facilities construction in cities. At present, the sports facilities in foreign countries are mature and relatively, reasonably arranged. In China, the sports facilities in areas along the coast and well-developed big cities are relatively mature, but the facilities in middle and small cities and inner land areas are relatively lagging behind. Based on such a background, research on sports space distribution has real meaning. This article tries to make some discussion and research on the theories of sports space distribution, hoping to provide some references to the macro arrangement on the space distribution of Badminton gymnasium in Xi'an as well as some constructive suggestion to the development of Xi'an's sports industry.Beginning with the space distribution of sports facilities as well as focusing on the space distribution of Badminton gymnasiums in Xi'an, this article tries to make use of the sports geography, ways of investigations and comprehensive analysis, in order to carefully analyze the space distribution of Badminton gymnasiums in Xi'an and discover its regularities, moreover, this article tries to find the particularities of the space distribution of Badminton gymnasiums in Xi'an, basing on the analysis of the location distribution of them. From a wider view, there are more badminton gymnasiums in the south part of Xi'an than in the north and more in the west part than in the east. From the view of administrative areas, there are the most gymnasiums in Yanta District; less in Beilin District, and the least in Baqiao District. Xi'an has a large number of badminton gymnasiums in the whole, which are profitable to people's body-building movements. However, it also has some disadvantages: unbalance distribution, low rate of usage, high charges, unreasonable distribution between high and low rank of the badminton gymnasiums, etc. The author points the direction to the development of Xi'an's badminton gymnasiums and offers some countermeasures for Xian's sports industry, which provide theoretic references about the construction and investment of the gymnasiums for the; government and enterprises. The author looks into the future about how Xian's badminton gymnasiums should be arranged and develops through the research of Xian's development in the future.The thesis can be divided into five chapters. Chapter 1 is the preface which introduces the foundation, meaning, methods, and objects of the research as well as the summarization of the documents. Chapter 2 is about the current situation of Xian's badminton gymnasiums space distribution; the historical evolution of Xian's badminton gymnasiums; the current situation of the badminton gymnasiums' geographical and administrative localization, transportation lines and their natures. Chapter 3 analyzes the reasons about the current situation of the badminton gymnasiums' space distribution by some research: The historical evolution of the space changes in Xian (beginning with the year of 1949); the particularities of the badminton gymnasiums" space distribution and the case study. Chapter 4 is about the prospect to the development of Xian's badminton gymnasiums: the overall layout of Xian's development in the future and the reasonable space distribution of the badminton gymnasiums. Chapter 5 is about the conclusion which gives some advice: to summarize the particularities of Xian's badminton gymnasiums and look into their tendency.
