Studies On Sports Facility's Spatial Distribution In Urban Areas And Sports Industry Development Countermeasures

With the advent of economic globalization, and especially after the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, sports industry advances rapidly across the world, thus stimulating the pace of urban construction as a robust drive. At present, the sports industry in developed countries experiences a wonderful development and its spatial distribution is reasonable. Compared by western standard, the construction of sports facilities in our country is relatively sound in costal areas and big cities but relatively lagged in inland areas and medium- and- small- sized cities. According to such backgrounds, There are of great significance to study the fields of sports facility's spatial distribution in urban areas and sports industry development In order to offer references to the macro-plan on sports facility's spatial distribution in urban areas and put forward some suggestions to the development of sports industry, this paper has done some researches on sports facility's spatial distribution in urban areas theoretically.Based on the comparison of sports facility's spatial distribution home and abroad, we analyze specifically sports facility's spatial distribution in Wuhan in the way of investigation and comprehensive analysis. Followed the laws behind sports facility's spatial distribution revealed in our research, we have found the characteristics of sports facility's spatial distribution in Wuhan, which shows that the number of sports facility's is ample and beneficial to the development of pubic exercises, but that the spatial distribution of such facilities is unbalanced with low use rate. Finally, this paper put forward corresponding measures for its development.The main contributions of this paper are as follows: 1.This paper theorizes that sports facility's spatial distribution plays an important role in advancing the development of sports facilities in economical and physical aspects. 2. This paper does deeply researches on sports facility's spatial distribution both home and abroad. 3. This paper introduces theories in urban economy into researches on sports industries and also, explores the inter-relations between such theories and sports facility's spatial distribution in urban areas. 4. Based on the of fifth survey materials on sports grounds in Wuhan, this paper analyzes the sports facility's spatial distribution there. 5. This paper presents countermeasures concerning the development of sports industries in Wuhan.The paper consists of six chapters. The first chapter is introduction, and introduces the background and study significance of the paper, brings forward the great significanceof studying city sports facilities spatial distribution, which is for the sports industry and the construction of national economy. Choosing four research methods, and making deep discussion in this field. The second chapter concerns about the development and research actualities of home and abroad city sport facilities, analyze the spatial distribution of abroad sport facilities and its development mode, discuss the significance of abroad sport facilities construction and important sport match for city development, meanwhile, compared with the spatial distribution and research actualities of home sport facilities, reveals the status and great significance of sport facilities spatial distribution for city development. The third chapter refers to theory foundation of city sport facilities' spatial distribution, proceed with and so on, explores the theory foundation of city sport facilities spatial distribution.
