Nowadays, China undergoes the reform of basic educational curriculums, whose main spirit is to integrate science with humanistic in education. Discipline integration, teaching models, course building, teaching material construction as well as evaluation system are all based on the spirit. In the teaching practice, the combination of science and humanistic depends on students'EQ training. The thesis tries to combine history teaching with EQ education and analyses the feasibility of permeating EQ education in high school history teaching. Besides, the paper explores the resources of EQ education in history teaching, illustrates the principles of infiltrating EQ education in high school history teaching and puts forward the strategies of infiltrating EQ education in high school history teaching. The thesis consists of 6 chapters.Chapter 1 Introduction: introduces research background, research topic, related literature review home and abroad and research methodology so as to lay a foundation for the whole thesis.Chapter 2 Outline of EQ Education: introduces the history and content of EQ, discusses the relationships between EQ and IQ, between EQ and quality education, and defines EQ education.Chapter 3 Theoretical Foundations of EQ Education in High School: proposes four theories, such as, historical materialism of Marxism, constructivism, humanism, Bloom's Taxonomy of Educational Objectives.Chapter 4 The Relationship between High School History Teaching and EQ Education: introduces the condition of EQ education in high school history teaching, demonstrates the necessity of infiltrating EQ education in high school history teaching and explains the resources of EQ education in history teaching.Chapter 5 Key Steps for Infiltrating EQ Education in High School History Teaching: suggests some points for infiltrating EQ education in high school history teaching in practice, from the angles of principle, strategy and evaluation.Chapter 6 Demands for History Teachers on Infiltrating EQ Education in High School History Teaching: provides some suggestions for history teachers. The history teachers should unite human value with work value, realize themselves, adjust their mood and be capable of encourage themselves. Also, the teachers try their best to create an equal and harmonious relationship with students.
