Peace and development are the prevailing trend in today's world.Countries in the world are increasingly interconnected and interdependent.At the same time,the global situation remains highly unstable and mankind faces many common threats and challenges.In order to enhance international understanding,trust and cooperation,international understanding education advocated by UNESCO after world War II has been paid more and more attention by governments of all countries.History has a unique advantage in the penetration of international understanding education.The cultural history content in the unified high school history textbooks provides rich materials for cultural understanding education,the core of international understanding education.This paper tries to study the combination of international understanding education and cultural history teaching in senior high school.The introduction part introduces the reason of the topic selection,research overview,research methods and innovation points.The first chapter discusses the relevant theoretical issues of international understanding education,including the concept of it,the level of objectives of it,the discrimination between international understanding education and related concepts,the relationship between international understanding education and the core accomplishment of history discipline,and the relationship between international understanding education and educating five domains simultaneously.The second chapter sorts out the training objectives and teaching contents of international understanding education in the senior high school history curriculum standard(syllabus)since the founding of the People's Republic of China,and summarizes the evolution trend of them and the requirements of The Times in the current curriculum standard.The third chapter analyzes the cultural history teaching content from the perspective of international understanding education from the three dimensions of national cultural identity,heterogeneous cultural understanding and cross-cultural communication according to the unified high school history textbooks.Chapter four discusses the teaching strategies of cultural history from the perspective of international understanding education from the aspects of teaching design,teaching implementation and teaching evaluation according to relevant teaching cases.Chapter five discusses some problems that should be paid attention to in cultural history teaching from the perspective of international understanding education,including distinguishing between "internal history" and "external history" of cultural history,keeping a watchful eye on "Western-centered theory" and "narrow nationalism," and balancing the cultivation of "global citizens" and "qualified national".
