To satisfy the need of comprehensive construction Well-off society in our country, China adopted the policy of higher education enrollment expansion in recent years. As an important component of higher education, higher vocational education, which undertakes the responsibility to train highly skilled talents, has made rapid development. However, the decline of student source quality and the shortage of education resources in higher vocational education aroused Chinese people's uneasiness. And how to improve teaching quality becomes the focus of people's attention, meanwhile, teaching quality becomes the academic focus of higher vocational education.By studying and comparing the correlation materials about the subject at home and abroad, this paper analyses the key influence factors of higher vocational education teaching quality comprehensively, by the means of literature retrieval, comparative research and system approach. Based on introducing some related concepts of higher vocational education teaching quality, first this paper analyses the factors which affect higher vocational education teaching quality and that can be divided into two parts: external and internal factors. External factors include political, economic and cultural factors whereas internal factors include hardware and software factors. Then the paper summarizes three key factors, namely curriculum, practical teaching, and teaching staff, from numerous factors, and puts forward an interaction among these key factors, that is,"curriculum system as the basis, practical training system as the emphasis while teaching staff as the guarantee". Second, the paper emphasizes on exploring and analyzing the concepts, characteristics, functions and problems of curriculum system, practical teaching system and teaching staff in Chinese higher vocational colleges respectively. Third, the paper gives some suggestions to set up a perfect teaching quality guarantee system for higher vocational education and stresses on discussing the countermeasures to adjust curriculum system, construct practical teaching system and teaching staff in details.
