Esthetic Education Study On High School's Modern Poetry Teaching

Chinese modern poetry plays an important part in the teaching of high school' s poetry reading. As an excellent representative of Chinese modern literature, modern poetry has high value and significance in esthetic education. However, restricted and affected by the college entrance examination pattern and the examination-oriented education concept, modern poetry receives little attention and neither teachers nor students show quite much interest in it.This article holds that modern poetry is an extremely good resource for high school's esthetic education. Basing on the modern poetry and with its special and beautiful language, we can help students obtain the literature esthetic ability, not only to discover but also to create beauty, and then achieve self-improvement and perfection. This article takes the classroom's poetry teaching operation as a breakthrough point, stressing that teachers should help students read and study the poems through the context analysis, and in this way discover the musical beauty, context beauty and emotional beauty of the poems. Also, this article is trying toexplore class drill steps——mainly about leading-in, context-creating,question-setting, exercise-practicing, and case-demonstrating——and is trying tomake detailed analysis, seek carefully the specific esthetic education approach, with the hope to inspire more teachers in this field.
