The Practice System's Comparison Between The Textbooks' Copies Of The China And America

What should we teach and even how to teach about a text, to a great extent, it is depended on the arrangement of practice system. How to enhance the teaching content's "determinism" that "presented" or "produced" by the practice system in the text,it is an important topic that we will face in the compiling of the teaching materials in our language. The paper takes the Practice Syetem in Reading And Writing in the two respective copies from the China and the U.S.A as the research object,Which are Standard Experimental Compulsory Textbook in General High School Curriculum(Book 1-5) from the People's Education press in May,2004 and the American Literature (Bookl-3) from Beijing Tongxin Press in August,2004. by focousing on each edit content, format, Characteristic and fuction,the practice system's compilation will be carried on in the two copies. The paper discusses the frame of the practice system in each copy then makes investigation and counts on the composition, the topic type, and the topic quantity, and the paper analyzes specifically the respective characteristic in both sides, as well as relations between reading and writing's practice.Based on this ,the paper studies the two practice systems with emphasis about the mutual fusion of the historic experience and the modern life as well as the close degree in the reading and writing practice's union.From the two practice system's comparison, we may discover that the different edit theory and policy in the exercises designing, the china copy is totally different from the one in American Literature,and a large gap about the teaching content's "determinism" is obvious between the China and America copies.Finally,in the last chapter,therefore, the enlightenment and the suggestions to the editers and the teachers are initiated by the comparison research,with the expectation to lead the resonsideration and the enhancement to the practice system designer of our mother tongue.
