| Maps act as the second language for geography, so geography means nothing if it were not for the maps. The chart system leading by Geographical Sketch plays an important role in the present geography teaching material for Grade 1(people's education publication, 2007) It supplements and extends the contents of the teaching material. Also, it helps to stimulate the students interest in learning geography, improve methods and efficiency of study, and as a result, the quality of teaching can be improved. However, as the teachers of mathematics, how do we conduct the students to take actively part in thinking in the course of mathematics teaching? With the reform and development in the basic education of our country, many new education ideas and teaching methods had beep put forward, in all of that Context-based Learning and Teaching attracts most of the teacher in the area of basic education.On the basis of the practice of teaching the author of the article discusses a way of setting up the question situation in order to develop the students to participate in emotion, behavior and thinking, form the model of "guestion-situation". Under the conduct of teaching principles which include the nature of ordered, open learning, compatible the dominant of student and teacher teaching, the author states some question situation strategies which involve in the characters of life, activity, image variability, contrast, oppugn and exploration.It is showed by experiment that it has advantages to improve the students interest ofstudying geography, the ability of observation, thinking and imagine, and the quality ofteaching, to teach using question situation .In addition ,the author indicates that their ability and quality of teaching will beimproved when the teachers set up the effective questions. |
