China will enter a new stage of building a society with a moderate level of prosperity and accelerating the socialist modernization drive. Science and technology are advancing by leaps and bounds. The competition of integrative national force is fierce. Social change and development poses new challenges and higher demand on Politics course teaching. However, there exists a discrepancy between the situation development and the current circumstance of senior middle school Politics course teaching. They are as following: What the students learn at class doesn't tally with what they perceive in reality, which severely affect their interest for Politics course. The theory content of teaching material has no relationship with the fact of student. There exists a time gap between the teaching case and social development, thus students hold that Politics course is of no practical value. Because of monotonous teaching method and mechanic learning method, Politics teaching lacks vitality and students are uninterested with Politics lesson.This paper mainly adopts the research method of questionnaires, interview and literature, surveys on senior middle school students of Ningde city, inquires into several problems Politics teaching, and objectively reflect the students' perception of Politics course. While probing into some problems existed in Politics lesson, the writer will analyze the causes of the problems and render some practical suggestions concerning. Through this research, the writer expects to supply some beneficial suggestions for course reform and educational management of senior school Politics course.
