The junior middle school is the initial phase of career education.The career education on the junior middle school students is an important measure to further improve the basic education content.It is not only the internal demands to follow the students' growth rules,and to promote the students' sustainable development,but also the reality needs to promote the junior middle school of education,and to serve the economic and social development actively.Through a more comprehensive study of the literature,in-depth field studies and related theoretical analysis,in this paper,we summarized the existing problems of junior middle school students' career education in Chongqing,and found the reasons for the existing problems on the career education in Chongqing.Furthermore,by analyzing the career education experiences from abroad and China's developed areas,according to the actual situation in Chongqing,we proposed countermeasures to the existing problems on the junior middle school students' career education in Chongqing.This paper consists three parts except the introduction.First of all,the introduction provides an overview of the purpose and content of the paper,and defines related concepts in the research;next explains the origin and significance of the study,and investigates on the recent inadequate research and the novelty of this article through literature review;finally,sets out the ideas and research methods of this paper.The first part of the body analyzes the existing problems of junior middle school students' career education in Chongqing on the basis of the questionnaire survey and field interviews.Concluded that there are six main questions in the current career education in Chongqing:first,junior middle school have weak career education;second, middle school students have weak career awareness;third,their understandings of the professional ethics are ambiguity;fourth,they lack of self-analysis and career planning abilities;fifth,their career practices are in weakness,and vocational skills are not high; sixth,their career orientations are biased.The second part explains the causes of the career education problem on the junior middle school students by analyzing on the existing problems of career education in Chongqing.First,the junior middle school have not pay more attention to the students of career education;Second,the concept of the family career is biased,and parents taking phenomenon are serious;Third,schools,families and schools lack of communication and cooperation,Fourth,the junior middle school career awareness is lower.The third part proposes the countermeasures to improve the junior middle school students' career education in Chongqing.First is the basic principle which should be followed in the process of implementing the career education on the junior middle school students in Chongqing:the principle of combing the independent with the difference;the principle of combing the practicality and usability;the principle of combing the systematic characteristic and gradualness;the principle of combing the universality and pointed.Second is countermeasures of career education on the junior middle school students:all-round cooperation:constructing the schools,families and social trinity career education system;overall coordination:exploring the development of teaching materials,classroom teaching permeability,extra-curricular activities complement;overall improvement:pursuing the practical characteristics of self-management,self-planning and conscious improvement.
