The purpose of education is to enable students to learn to live. For students, the individual differences in the process of the development of each student to take the path of growth is not the same, But whether it is the way to take the occupation road or go to the high middle school---- high school, the ultimate goal is to get into the community, to get a satisfactory job. We will focus on children’s learning, spend 12 years immersed in study in order to enter a good university, also not willing to spend a little time to let the children understand the social and professional, planning their future career development. At this point, our country has lagged behind the world’s developed countries such as the United States, Japan, Germany, Britain and many other countries. Therefore, in order to let the students have the ability to plan the future, we need to set up a career planning course in the basic education stage to guide students to understand themselves, explore their own characteristics, and make every student find their own characteristics.This paper mainly adopts the literature synthesis method, on the basis of the literature research on the domestic and foreign high school career planning education, through the comparison, the paper points out the present situation and the insufficiency of the domestic middle school vocational education. Through the questionnaire survey of junior middle school students in Suzhou, we know the students’ understanding of the status of their own career planning, and the reasons for the lack of Vocational Education in Suzhou.
