That the foreign language teaching which is dominated by teachers and gives the students input and output medias with multiple methods and channels is the key point to cultivate the students'ability to practice language,and is also the effective way to raise the teaching effectiveness and improve the teaching results.The fast-growing instructional technology, especially the multimedia technology provides foreign language teaching with new platform.And multimedia assisted foreign language teaching will inevitably becomes the new tendency towards which the foreign language teaching develops.Multimedia assisted foreign language teaching can create fine language learning situation and sufficiently motivate students' independent learning and active learning by taking advantage of multimedia computer's integration of text,sound,graph, image and animation to present the learning content in an efficient way.Therefore,Multimedia assisted foreign language teaching becomes a must of academic research.This paper probes into the multimedia assisted situational English teaching for junior high school in the purpose of optimizing teachers' level of multimedia classroom teaching and then lead them to enhance students' ability of practicing English.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part exposits the origin of this study,literature review and design(includes researching train of though and methods);the second part analyzes the theoretical construction of multimedia assisted situational English teaching for junior high school; the third part raises the conditions of implementing multimedia assisted situational English teaching for junior high school;the fourth part discusses the process of multimedia assisted situational English teaching for junior high school,including the analysis of teaching objectives,the affirmation of teaching rules and the expansion of teaching procedure;the fifth part analyzes the relative cases of multimedia assisted situational English teaching for junior high school in order to explain the feasibility and superiority of this teaching model;the sixth part puts forward the strategies of efficiently implementing multimedia assisted situational English teaching for junior high school so as to explain how to solve the problems arising in the process of implementation.
