| Multimedia–assisted English Situational Teaching is one of the most importantaspects in the research of foreign language teaching and learning. Multimedia–assistedEnglish Situational Teaching can facilitate and motivate students’ independent learningand active learning by taking advantage of multimedia computer’s integration of text,sound, image and animation to present the learning content in an efficient way. Theapplication of multimedia and net resources in foreign language teaching willinevitably lead to the reform of teaching thoughts and teaching methods. How can weimprove the ability of studying English by modern teaching technology, and the abilityof applying English? Therefore, Multimedia–assisted English Situational Teachingbecomes a must of academic research. This paper probes into the Multimedia–assistedEnglish Situational Teaching for junior high school in the purpose of optimizingteachers’ level of multimedia classroom teaching and then lead them to enhancestudents’ ability of practicing English.This article is divided into five parts. First, I exposit the originã€the backgroundã€the purpose and the design of this study. Next, I analyze the theoretical construction ofmultimedia–assisted English situational teaching for junior high school. After that, Idiscuss the process of multimedia–assisted English situational teaching for junior highschool and analyze the relative cases of multimedia–assisted English situationalteaching for junior high school. Then, I report and discuss the result of the study bypresenting data analysis and some interviews with teachers and students, which findout the cause that multimedia–assisted English situational teaching can improve theability of studying English. Finally, I draw a conclusion and offer some suggestions. |
