Investigation And Influencing Factors Analysis Of Students' Love In Medical College

Objective To analysis the situation and characteristic of medical college students' love, through designing questionnaire and field investigation. Then to analysis the influencing factors through case-control study. It is necessary to get new methods for students' psychology healthy education, make targeted recommendations to lead students ro healthy psychological development and then help them to set an accurate viewpoint of love.Methods A questionnaire survey was carried out among the five grades college students of preventive medical and social medical and health service management in Shanxi Medical University to explore the status and characteristics of the contemporary medical university students' love. It was disposed with chi-square and rank sum test to analyze whether love rate of medical students who have different sex, background, specialty and grades is significant. Logistic regression was to analyze influencing factors of love. All the data we collected was saved by Epidata and analyzed by SPSS 13.0 software.Results(1) The prospective object are 752,the rate of students being loving is 32.3%, and that students having had love is 45.7%.(2) Boys and girls' loving rate are respectively 30.0% and 33.5%, and the loving rate between boys and girls isn't different significantly(X~2 = 0.925, P = 0.336); Comparing with students from the countryside and city, the loving rate of students from cities are higher,and the rate is differently significant(X~2 =18.11,P< 0.001);There are significant difference among different grades' loving rate(X~2 =35.150, P< 0.001). From Grade One to Four,the rate is rising,and the rate of students who will graduate is descenting.(3) Comparing with the single students , students being love' living expenses every month are higher, and the different is significant (u = -5.131.P < 0.001).(4) College students are more concerned about character, kidney and capacity of the boy or girl friend, and the criterion between males and females is different significantly(X~2 =31.680, P< 0.001) ; The proportion of students who can accept sexual behavior is 17.9%, 42.2% is neutrality , and the sexual viewpoint between males and females is different significantly ( u = -9.195, P < 0.001) ; 18.1% students thought the love can promote the study, 23.8% students thought the love can promote the ability of social communication, the viewpoints between males and females are different significantly (u-4.187, P< 0.001;u = -3.914, P< 0.001) ;20.4% males and 11.5% females thought university students' love may move towards the marriage, the viewpoints between males and females is different significantly (u= -3.274,P = 0.001) .(5) Students being loving are happier and more tolerant than the single students, and the difference is significant (X~2 =12.555, P = 0.002,X~2 = 42.943, P< 0.001) ; Single students is more alone and worried than students being loving, and the difference is significant (X~2 = 19.455, P < 0.001,X~2 = 14.048, P = 0.001) .(6) The result of one-way analysis showed that the influence of birth background, grade, expense,affair,the attitude of love and study, the attitude of love and marriage, happiness,tolerance,worriment and lonliness are significant.(7) The result of multiple-factor analysis showed that birth background, grade, affair, the attitude of love and marriage, tolerance and lonliness are significant.Students coming from cities, having senior grade, ever having had love, being more tolerant and alone are more possible to have a love relationship. Students concerning more about loving relationship can lead to marrial relationship more possibly than others.Conclusion The medicine colleges students'love phenomenon is quite prevalent. The loving proportion of students having different birth background, grade and expense is different significantly. The university students'love standard are more rationalization.Most students are cautious about sexual behavior. The viewpoint of sexual behavior, relationship between loving and marriage is different significantly between males and females. Birth background, grade, affair, marriage, tolerance and loneliness affect the loving. It's necessary to guide the students' love correctly.
