| Nowadays Japan is regarded as an international economic and technological power. The Japanese government's emphasis, investments and research on education are so distinguished that worth us to learn from them in many different kinds of areas. On the basis of the comparison of the science curriculum standards and implementations between China and Japan, the purpose of the paper is to explore and compare the existing Chinese and Japanese secondary school science education materials as well as their background, and to try to seek what we can learn from the organization, selection and application, especially on the contents of chemistry teaching. In this way, I am looking forward to giving some useful ideas on the reformation of science in China.According to the Japanese curriculum standard announced in 2003 and the school book named New Science, this paper analyzed the science curriculum of Japanese middle school. At the same time, focusing on the middle school curriculum of Chemistry announced by the Chinese Ministry of Education and the school book Chemistry (adapted to nine-year school students ), the paper analyzed the middle school curriculum of Chemistry. My paper includes six sections.Section one is introduction. It's about the background, meaning, purpose and methods of the study. Section two is about the comparison of the setting of science curriculum between China and Japan. Section three is about the comparison of middle school curriculum of Chemistry between China and Japan. Section four is about the chemistry school books of middle school in China and Japan. In this book, I made a comparative study on the system, the way of presence and its specialties. The results shows that both of the school books in China and Japanese focus on leading the students to study, maneuver the enthusiasm of them. New Science is connected closely with the life. The last section is my enlightenments about the way of seeking to reform the science curriculum of China. |
