The education appeared when the humanity and the human society appeared. In the ancient times, the productive forces level was low, the education content was at the chaotic state, the knowledge was not split up. Up to the modern times, along with the new route's opening and capitalism's starting, humanity's knowledge moved towards the differentiation from the synthesis, and split into many disciplines. To the mid-19th century it had already arrived at the quite meticulous degree. Subjects in school were more and more, and usually carried on with logic. People often stressed the systematic of discipline knowledge but neglected the organic connections between disciplines. The modern science technology's development has led the humanity into the brand-new 21st century. In 21st century we need the inter-disciplinary talent with well-knit foundation,comprehensive knowledge and strong suitability. But the present curriculum is too differential, is undertightened with the actual life. The isolated scientific knowledge is not dood for the solutions to actual problems.Then, how to go out of the difficult position of the discipline curriculum? People propose the curriculum integration and seek the outlet to the synthesis curriculum. Therefore it has become one of the focal points of the world curriculum reform.Our country starts elementary education reform in the turning of the century, proposes the curriculum integration, establishes synthesis curriculum, downplays the discipline boundary etc, which is consistent with the world curriculum reform tendency. But synthesis curriculum is still in the start stage in our country. Even if some provinces and cities have opened the synthesis curriculum, but it still has many problems and not very mature. According to predecessor's correlation theories as well as present research results, this article carries on the analysis and discussion in view of what is the curriculum integration and the pattern, the rationale and necessity of curriculum integration, and what is synthesis curriculum and the type of it, dialectical relations between separated curriculum and synthesis curriculum. Though the separated curriculum at present still occupy the dominant position in the education, according to own practical work situation and the work experience, we can open a way which accords with the actual situation and also can be accepted by teacher's community—discipline overlapping seepage. In the teaching, seeks for overlapping breakthrough point between physics and chemistry, forms the good seepage contact surface of knowledge in order to train the students' science subjects synthesizing capacity and innovation ability, improve the students' overall quality, let the classroom coruscate the veritable vitality. The discipline overlapping region looks like the middle intermediate belt between two ecosystems which mentioned inside the biology. Similarly we may also seek for the splendor belongs to us from the discipline overlapping region.
