With the help of new curriculum standard idea and connection with practice in physics experiment teaching in middle school, this paper studies the actual situation of physics experiment teaching of middle school about educational concept, development and utilization of curriculum resources, teaching methods and means, teaching evaluation methods and so on, which mainly derives from the concepts of new curriculum standard, physics experiment teaching of middle school under the new curriculum standard idea, the present situation investigation on physics experiment teaching of middle school under the new curriculum standard, the theoretic discussions and practice in physics experiment teaching of middle school under the new curriculum standard idea, etc. Moreover, it simultaneously discusses characters of physics experiment teaching in middle school deeply. The corresponding study shows that more attention should be paid to the following five points in order to carry out the new curriculum standard well: (1) The change of teaching concept is an important key. All levels of education departments should pay more attention on it. (2) The innovation of teaching method is a guarantee for carrying out the new curriculum standard well. The design of physics experiment should begin with stimulating students' active participation in the experiments, then should encourage the students to have the action of thinking, constructing and using hands. It will help the students learn more knowledge during the grope and improvement of physics experiment via the corresponding practice. Therefore, it will make the students have a active, cooperative and exploring study instead of a passive acceptance study, and incessantly develop their ability of active thinking during the study process. (3) Teachers should expand the course resources to design experiments by using the daily life thing which is familiar to the students. (4) The teachers' knowledge should be renewed, and range of knowledge should be enlarged. Meanwhile, the new information and teaching skills acquired by modern communication technology should be applied in teaching process. (5) Based on human-oriented concept, the corresponding achievement evaluation should consider the development and improvement of the ability of active thinking as an important standard.
