Curriculum resources refer to the resources of the essential factors to form the curriculum. Curriculum resources are very important to the new national basic education curriculum reform, for they are the necessary and direct conditions to implement curriculums. Physics education can not do without experiments, nor can it do without curriculum resources. The common lack of curriculum resources of the physics experiments has now become a major drawback which may even hinder the new curriculum reform. Thus utilizing and developing curriculum resources of physics experiments in middle school is the powerful assurance to carry out the reform in students'physics-learning method and it will benefit the instruction design of middle school physics teachers as well as their personalized teaching; it will reflect the experimental characteristic in the subject of physics, and will help to achieve the three-dimensional goals of the curriculum.Based upon the definition and classification of curriculum resources, around the problems of there being how much physics experiment curriculum resource and to what extent and how effectively the resources are made use of, the author has investigated the actual utilization and development of curriculum resources of physics experiments in both junior and senior high schools in southern Jiangsu Province. The results of the surveys indicate that there do exist problems about the construction of physics experiment curriculum resources, even in the relatively advanced districts in southern Jiangsu. These problems include firstly the teachers'vague understanding of physics experiment curriculum resources and laboratory personnel urgently to be qualified, secondly the serious shortage of material resources in physics laboratory and the lack of systematic collection and classification of information resources of experiments, thirdly the failure to effectively make use of the existing physics experiment curriculum resources and the scattered and badly organized development of physics experiment curriculum resources, and lastly the relative delay in the management files and instruments catalog of the laboratory.This thesis has summarized six principles of developing and utilizing curriculum resources of physics experiments, namely, the principles of being scientific, systematic, purposeful, concise, individualized and practical. This thesis also presents the strategies to develop and utilize curriculum resources of physics experiments, including emphasizing the analysis of the text books and the syllabus ,attaching importance to the physics laboratory construction, reforming and innovating in physics experiments, integrating physics experiment instruction with information technology, compiling teaching materials for physics experiment, developing curriculum resources from daily life and paying close attention to students'role in curriculum resources development. At last, in line with the three-dimensional teaching goals, this thesis takes the chapter of electromagnetic induction as an example to demonstrate how to analyze the teaching material and the needs of experimental resources for physics instruction. According to the strategies to develop and utilize curriculum resources in physics experiments, the author has made full use of existing curriculum resources in the laboratory and developed in the inadequate, and finally succeeded in practicing most experiments.
