Research on special education started very late in China and few people have done research on the Physics teaching in special schools for many years. At present, there are 130,000 visual-disabled students in China, whose main teaching allocation is blind school teaching attached to some students studying in ordinary schools. Physics is an important and hard-to-learn subject to visual-disabled students. With the development of new course reformation, research on physics teaching reformation means a lot in schools for the blind. This thesis introduces and discusses the development and usage of Physics course resources bases on the current teaching situation of Physics teaching in special schools. In addition, it illuminates the features of blind students' Physics learning. Based on physics learning theory, it analyses the visual-disabled students' study features, discusses their study psychology and difficult factors, and shows the current Physics learning situation of visual-disabled students. The most important part of the thesis is on the research and practice of Physics teaching reformation in schools for the blind. The contents and operating ways have been elaborated in the thesis in the aspect of teaching principles, teaching models and teaching plans. The influence of information technology on special schools has been specifically analyzed. For many Physics teachers in special schools, Physics experiment teaching is a completely new subject. It is a great challenge to exert visual-disabled students' other sensual abilities to finish the experiment successfully and safely. In the viewpoint of the author, the success of physics experiments can be greatly enhanced by practicing students' experimental skills and improving laboratory equipment. The analysis of concept courses, rule courses, exercise courses and revision courses has been given in teaching models. This thesis also gives an inquiring example, which is a beneficial reference to physics teachers in blind schools . The most important step of new course teaching reformation is the evaluation reformation for the visual-disabled students. The thesis analyzes the effects and principles, types, ways of Physics teaching evaluation, and many examples have been provided. The reformation of Physics teaching in blind schools is a complicated, systematical project and still many problems remain to be discussed.
