With the rapid development of the information age,more and more teaching methods are reflected in front of us,how can teachers make students interested in physics? How can students learn physics well? It has become an urgent problem for the current frontline teachers.The main purpose of this paper is to explore how visual teaching should be applied to high school physics teaching,so as to improve students' interest in learning physics and cultivate students' physical thinking ability.This research puts forward the "visual teaching" for the current situation of physics teaching.The complex physical concepts and physical laws are presented to students in a more visual and intuitive way,so that students can learn physics better.Firstly,this paper first expounds the related theoretical foundations of visualization,visual teaching,constructivism theory,Ausubel meaningful acceptance learning theory,visual thinking theory,brain science,etc,then it analyzes the characteristics of physics in high school and puts forward relevant teaching applications of visualization of thinking and knowledge.Secondly,this paper lists the visual teaching cases of “Newton's First Law” and “Impulse and Momentum”.For the content of these two sections,the author adopts a visual teaching method,vividly and vividly presenting the relevant concepts in front of students in a more intuitive way.Finally,the author selects two parallel classes in the high school of the internship to conduct a questionnaire analysis,and investigates the application of visual teaching in high school physics teaching,through a one-semester teaching,the students can master the visual teaching,understand the changes of the learning interest in the experimental and control classes and explore the learning effect of the visual teaching.Finally,it comes to the conclusion that visual teaching plays an important role in improving students' interest in physics learning and cultivating students' divergent thinking ability.
