Cultivating Good Morals Through Small Matters

Cultivating education is an important indispensable education link in the development of the middle school students. Some students have good manners,high character and develop in an all-round way,who as a result will bring happiness to their families and make their contribution to the society.On the contrary,some are of very bad conduct,they have no desire to make progress and violate discipline and regulations and have got the long-standing mistaken ideas,who of course ruin their youth and spoil the stability of their families and society.To a great extent,such two entirely different situations are the results of whether good behaviour habits are acquired or not.Therefore,to develop the subject consciousness and the new orientation of values of the middle school students today and to deepen educational reform,we should pay great attention to cultivating education.Taking Daily Behaviors Standars of Middle School Students (issued in 2004) as a criterion and applying the methods of documents study,investigation and case analysis,the author trys to set forth questions existing in behaviors and manners among middle school studens,analyze influence factors that bring about the questions and seek to put forward suggestions and solutions for school education.It is hoped that the research will have some reference value and be quite practical for middle schools in forming students' good behaviors and manners,so as to foster their healthy growth and development in an all-round way.Tha paper consists of 4 parts.The first deals with backbround and significance of this subject,sums up its prsent research situation,methods and ideas.By way of case analysis the second sets forth some bad behaviors and manners in middle school students' daily life,such as impoliteness in talking and doing,lack of honesty, bad habits in learning,senseless of honoring their parents and weak of social ethics awareness.The third reveals the causes that have evil influence on the students in fostering their behaviors and manners,analyzes the relations among the three essential factors, namely social environment,home education and school education,and hightlights the importance of the school education.Probing into the viewpoints that teachers should teach others by their own examples, campus cultural construction should be strengthened,Daily Behaviors Standars of Middle School Students should be fully carried out and a three-in-one education network linking society,home and school should be built,the fourth part puts forward suggestions and solutions for school education in order to cultivate students' good behaviors and manners.
