The CBA basketball professional league has become one of the most influential sporting events in China after years of development. However, the frequent match violence in man's basketball league match during 2007-2008 season has become a factor influencing the healthy development of CBA league match.This paper focuses on match violence in man's basketball league match during 2007-2008 season and carries on the research by the way of literature analysis, questionnaire, kinescope, mathematical statistics, logic analysis and so forth.In this paper, basketball violence is defined: Basketball violence refers to the behaviors, such like fight, affront, etc, which happen during the match and are out of actors' subjective intent. These kinds of behaviors often cause the damages of the sufferers' bodies, emotion or property, what's more, impeding the conduct of event. Besides, such behaviors always lead to certain consequences.This article describe the features, forms, and results of the match violence in man's basketball league match during 2007-2008 season, and analyzes the shaping factors of it from 6 different aspects.At last, it comes to the following conclusions:1. The match violence often happens in north area, and is more frequent, more serious than the south one.2. The fans throw mineral water bottles, cans that are forbidden to bring into the stadium in the violent events, which implies the loopholes in security works.3. The players' violent behaviors are the most important reason triggering the audience riots, umpires are just the general inducements.To solve the match violent events, the most important thing is to defend and establish the proper managing strategies. The paper will finish with a hope that it can make some contributions to defend and reduce the violent behaviors in the CBA league, further more, promote the healthy development of the CBA basketball professional league in our country.
