By methods of literature material analysis , logical analysis, questionnaire survey, expert interviews, mathematical statistics and so on, this paper analyzes the quo model of College Physical Education Curriculum in Guizhou and puts forward some suggestions to optimize the PE curriculum model settings there.The results of the research show that: The College PE Curriculum in Guizhou presents the condition of the coexistence of a variety of models, with a majority of "semi-traditional" model. The guiding principles of PE curriculum are diversified, taking "health first, lifelong physical culture" as the main guiding principle. The objectives of physical education, which include the elementary goals, the development targets and also the five domain goals, are basically consistent with the overall objectives in the new "Outline" . In most colleges, the PE curriculum and the construction are not balanced. Athletics projects are the main content in physical education, and the teaching courses focus on technical education. The sports are mainly traditional sports items, while some national items of Guizhou local styles, swimming welcomed by students and some new items are not sufficient obviously. The curriculum management level is low and the course evaluation system should be more scientific and more rational. The dominant curriculum has achieved fairly good results while the development of the recessive curriculum has not caused adequate attention. The sports complexes facilities and instrument facilities are insufficient. The indoor facilities are few, and the quality is low. The outdoor construction, maintenance and conservation wait for further strengthening. The leaderships have not paid enough attention to the new "outline" . What's more, there is a shortage of teachers and the title structure is unreasonable. Meanwhile,the establishment system cannot arouse teachers' working enthusiasm adequately.This article puts forward some suggestions to optimize the PE curriculum model settings of College Physical EducationCurriculum in Guizhou: Transform the idea of sports teaching further; Improve the sports curriculum structure; Optimize the design of sports course content; Explore the open style physical education curriculum model; Establish humane physical education curriculum evaluation system; Strengthen the sports facilities construction and enrich the campus sports culture; Develop a good sense of sports among students; Pay attention to the construction of physical education teacher troop, reform the personnel assignment system; Enhance the support and attention of the leadership; Strengthen the construction and exploitation of physical education curriculum.
