| Dance Sport is a combination of dance performance and competitive sports. It is a systemic entertainment sport with obvious value of physiology and psychology. It also has the value of fitness, watching and social activities.At the end of 1980s, it came into China. Because of its late advent and just carried out for a short time, it lacks of necessary theoretical guidance and practical experience. Therefore, the overall level of sport-dance is still low in our country.Dance Sport as the role of Sports has been valued by the National Education Department. In our country Dance Sport has been used as a sport game in non-Olympic events of 2000 National Games. What is more, in some provinces and cities sports dance has been classified as a province race game.In China, Dance Sport in Henan Province is developing rapidly .There are a number of fans and players of sports dance in Henan province, and Sport dance began to be a exam-course in arts college entrance examination of Henan Province in 2008. However, because of the lack of theory and practice to explore and summary sport dance, the running of it is hopeless under currently situations. That directly and negatively impacts on the development of the Dance Sport in Henan Province. The objectives of this essay are:Accounting to the comprehensive and universal research on the currently situations and problems of sport dance clubs of Henan, to figure out the characteristics and sum up the major factors of it. Then provide the solutions and possible methods for policy makers of Henan sport department, to help them make more scientific decisions about running of sport dance clubs and programmers. At the same time this essay is able to offer theoretical resources for the researchers of sports dance.In this essay, literature, interviews, questionnaire and mathematical statistics research methods are used to analyze the favorable and unfavorable factors of running Sport Dance in Henan Province,and results show that:(1)Favorable factors: The advent of related policies, stable economy growth, great socialized people and the show up of nature characteristics of sport dance, all those factors contribute to a great potential future(2)Negative factors: In the term of teaching, there is no sexual balance and most of the teachers are too young as well as uneducated. Moreover, they have no enough teaching experience and time since they are part-time teaching, and they did not get knowledge system of sport dance as well as lack of training and racing. In the term of students, there is also a unbalances genders. The students are lake of time and enthusiasm since they just learn little sorts of sport dances.In additional, insufficient budget and facilities lead to that they can not meet the standards and need more focus and media supports Through the analysis Of favorable and unfavorable factors, some recomm endationsare provided:Strengthen macro-control and Government supports,and introduce market mechanism as well as avoid vicious competition. At the same time learn the successful experience from foreign countries, improve the management level and increase media publicity. Balance the sex ratio, universal double-gender teaching, strengthens the exchange of experience among coaches; speed up the training of major dance sport coaches. Continually educate instructors in a planned way in order to improve their cultural and dancing level. What is more, change the traditional teaching methods and develop wide range potential of students, and promote the organizations of sports competitions as well as dance performances. Foster the awareness of science and fitness under the guiding ideology of "Health First"Perfect venues and facilities, improve teaching equipment and create a good environment.
