Mass Rhythmic Gymnastics is a sports event, which applies to ordinary colleges. Girl students can practice it in a complete mental relaxation without any boy students'interference during the whole process to reach the greatest effectiveness of the physical and mental health. The situation teaching breaks through the original teaching methods and principles and forms a totally new teaching model consists of theory, teaching goal, teaching environment, teaching equipment and story content. The effect of situation teaching on Mass Rhythmic Gymnastics aims to discover new teaching model more suitable for girl students both in Physiology and Psychology. It can inspire the girl students'interest in learning Mass Rhythmic Gymnastics, enhance the ability of comprehending skilled knowledge, aesthetic ability, the effect on physical quality, and promote its popularization and development in college. Therefore, this paper explores the effect of Situational Teaching Model on Mass Rhythmic Gymnastics teaching.This paper employs literature consultation, questionnaires, experimental study and data statistics to make an experimental study on the effect of Situational Teaching Model on Mass Rhythmic Gymnastics teaching. First of all, the application of situation teaching in the teaching of Mass Rhythmic Gymnastics can translate the abstract, complicated action into vivid action, which is convenient for students to master the instrument and action. The situation teaching extracts materials from variety of classical stories to make the action more vivid, specialized, and humanized; to help the students acquire the authentic and emotional feeling and develop the students'similarity thinking ability. Secondly, through practice and equipment, students can not only comprehend a skill action, but also comprehend other actions and finish skill action perfectly. Finally, teacher allocates roles according to the story plots and students'specific situation. Students display the whole story plots completely as the development of story plots.The experiment shows that the application of situation teaching optimizes the teaching environment. Besides, there are differences between teaching atmosphere, the relationship between students and teachers, teaching equipments and sports facilities. It shows that Mass Rhythmic Gymnastics not only helps the students master the sporting skill, improve the effectiveness of teaching on a whole, but also rich and develop teaching personality gradually, promoting the girl students'harmonious development both in Physiology and Psychology and have different effect on girl students'capability of bearing pressure and enhancing body diathesis. It use classic story as teaching aids to make girl students experience the interest in Mass Rhythmic Gymnastics, the aesthetic knowledge, and the improvement of creative ability, which achieve greater teaching effect. It not only rich the girl students'culture life, promote ideological and ethical construction, also contribute to girl students'health effectively.
