Along with the implementation of the curriculum reform, the importance of curriculum resources has revealed day after day. On the one hand, the curriculum resources are especially insufficient as the executive condition, on the other hand because of the weak awareness of curriculum resources a large number of curriculum resources has been ignored, not in a timely manner after processed and transformed into the actual curriculum. It caused many valuable curriculum resources the idle and the waste. The curriculum resources guarantee the achievement of the curriculum goal, and the effective development of the curriculum resources is in direct relation with the result of curriculum implements.In the English subjects, "English curriculum standards (test version)" make the discipline " develop curriculum resources,and use expanded channels to learn " as the basic concept of English courses.Then it is also required in one of nine goals specific description "Students can use a variety of educational resources for study." At the same time, the development of curriculum resources is to train students in learning ability, to strengthen the links between effective means in learning English and other subjects .Therefore, how effective the development of English curriculum resources are worthy of every English teacher explored.This research will mainly use the questionnaire and the interview method. Through questionnaires and interviews found the problems in the English curriculum resource development, and analyze the problem of the inherent causes of the problem ,finally put forward six strategies for the promotion of development junior high school English curriculum resource; enhance teacher's awareness of developing English curriculum resources; establish the security mechanism for curriculum resources; creatively use of good material resources; actively develop out-of-school English curriculum resources; use of information networks to expand English curriculum resources; and concern about the new invisible curriculum resources, including generative curriculum resources, retrospective curriculum resources and so on. The paper aims at providing reference while junior high school teachers developing English curriculum resources.
