In recent years, "Three Rural Issues" is one focus of our government's job, and rural education is the most important. At this stage, the level of rural education is in a sense depends on the level of information. As a result, study on information security have far-reaching significance for improving the level of rural education, solving the "Three Rural Issues" as well as constructing a harmonious socialist society and implementing Scientific Outlook on Development.At present, academician's research hotspots are focus on information and rural education, but the literature is also few for taping information's educational value and studying information and effectiveness of information dissemination channels from this perspective and building information security of our country's characteristic rural education, and this is precisely the focus in this article.In this paper, we make a survey about information security situation of rural education in the east of Henan province and study on information security's status in our country from the general sense. Then we get several conclusions, and put forward rational proposals for information security from the perspective of educational value.The full text is divided into four parts. The first chapter introduces this subject's background and the significance of information security's implementation in rural areas, focusing on analysis of the research and implementation of rural information security at abroad and our country's preliminary exploration about the research of rural information security. The second chapter first analyzes information security's content and form and describes three theoretical foundation- Asymmetry Information theory, the Matthew Effect theory and the Digital Divide theory, and discusses the status and role of rural education and the situation of rural education in our country on the basis of the theory of rural education at home and abroad, and then come out of the relationship between rural education and information security and the people and adaptability which information security face to. Chapter III analyzes an overview information security by an investigation in four groups (peasants, students, schools and teachers) in Henan rural. The fourth chapter summarizes the main results and the academic value achieved, then we contrast the effectiveness of information dissemination and absorption and putting forward information security proposals for our country's characteristic rural education.
