The Information Ethics Education in Junior Middle School should include Information Security Ethics Education,Information Regulation Ethics Education and Information Responsibility Ethics Education.The Information Security Ethics Education is aimed at information security and privacy on the Internet,including Network Information Security Education and Personal Privacy Security Education;The Information Regulation Ethics Education is mainly presented by code of conduct and norms for a variety of information activities,including Network Intellectual Property Education and Network Etiquette Education;The Information Responsibility Ethics Education is aimed at a series of moral issues occurred on the Internet,including Network Information Behavior Education and Network Morality Education.Through various questionnaire and interview surveys of students and teachers,it is found that the implementation of information ethics education in junior middle schools is generally going well,yet cases of poor effectiveness are also present.The representation of problems,from the perspectives of the teachers and teaching materials,firstly,the curriculum standards and the teaching materials are not being represented sufficiently;secondly,there are great differences among the school infrastructures,students cannot participate in classroom learning efficiently;thirdly,teachers' teachings are too theoretical,which lack the systematic knowledge of the information ethics education;finally,the functional departments lack strong supervision and guidance.From the perspectives of students,firstly,students have distinctive personalities.They don't have enough understandings of the information ethics education and their sense of identity is not high.Secondly,a small number of students don't have a decent behavior when browsing the network;next,students' awareness on maintaining the online intellectual properties is poor.;finally,students have strong curiosities,but lack independent thinking and cognitive complexity,which also results in some problems.The reasons for the above problems,from the perspectives of the teachers and teaching materials,firstly,the information security ethics and network ethics are represented in the “computer security”,“healthy Internet and network morality”,additional articles and after-class discussions;most of the teaching contents only focus on the curriculum standards,rules and regulations;secondly,students cannot participate effectively in the learning project,due to differences in the school funds and technical conditions,some schools need to limit the campus network speed in order to maintain the regular usage of it,which reduces the efficiency of students' independent online learning in the computer lab;finally,fewer examples are cited during the teaching,the school's education to students is carried out through the oral preaching and systematic pressure.From the perspectives of students,firstly,many students believe in the protection of personal privacy,yet the privacy of others seems to have nothing to do with them.Secondly,a small number of students don't have a decent behavior when browsing the network.The openness of the network has made some of them using with indecent online names and network language.They don't respect others,while challenging the baseline of behavioral norms.Next,students' awareness on maintaining the online intellectual properties is poor.Most students don't know how to identify pirated software.They also don't know the hazards brought by online piracy or how to protect intellectual properties.In order to solve the issues above,the following measures can be applied: first,educational administrative departments should develop the information ethical norms in line with the characteristics of students and to strengthen network supervision;second,school need to strengthen the training of teachers and apply them to the actual teaching;finally,textbooks should be more in-depth and clear,teachers should dig deep into knowledge points of the teaching materials,and teach through empirical cases and actual examples.
