The current curriculum reform of physical education and health concerns about students in physical fitness, skills development, at the same time ,it concerns about the development of student's interest in learning sports, sports participation, social adaptation, the quality of willpower, the traditional of single quantitative evaluation is no longer to adapt to the current curriculum reform of physical education and health requirements. "Basic Education Curriculum Reform (Trial)" clearly states that "change the function which emphasis the selection and screening in curriculum too much, and improve the evaluation function of promoting the development of students, teachers and the improvement in teaching practice." which gives the teaching evaluation a clear direction. Verifying the effects of qualitative assessment in PE study sports is adapted to the current reform conscientiously, it can promote development of students, teachers and the improvement of teaching practice to improve the evaluation of the new premise, it is also the urgent problems to solve in sports and health curriculum reform.Based on searching the large amount of literature and books about the qualitative assessment, I conducted a summary research on the status quo of the concept and application of qualitative assessment ; selecting Tongshan County, Jiangsu Province, son of the subject in primary schools, middle schools, nine high school class of 415 students randomly( 152 primary schools, 113 junior high school, high school 150, and 277 in the experimental class, control class 138) for teaching experiments to verify the qualitative assessment of the introduction of China's primary and secondary school physical education and health effect studies and to verify the qualitative evaluation if its promotion of in sports and health has inter-age differences and gender differences. To verify the qualitative evaluation, quantitative evaluation and qualitative and quantitative methods combined with the evaluation of different paragraph, gender, physical fitness of students, skills, sports, learning attitudes, affective expression and the spirit of cooperation, sports, role in promoting interest in learning whether there are significant differences, respectively, to explore paragraph for non-students, gender of students with different learning content more suitable for the sports of the evaluation. We apply case-by-case study interviews to study the qualitative assessment of sports (and health) have a deep impact on learning for students.The above results show that:1. Introducing qualitative assessment to primary and secondary school of physical education and health curriculum has produced good learning effects, it plays a significant role in promoting the development of physical skills, improving physical education enthusiasm, fostering fighting spirit of the sports culture, social adaptation, etc.2. Qualitative evaluation of physical fitness of students, skills, attitudes, feelings of cooperation and interest in learning sports role in promoting the development of a significant segment of the school differences in student skills, sports, learning the role of attitude toward the development of a significant gender differences. 3. Qualitative evaluation can promote the physical development of students better than quantitative evaluation, especially it is the most significant in the physical development of a mature high school .There is no significant difference in different evaluation methods to promote the role of physical development between boys and girls.4. Qualitative evaluation can promote student's motor skill learning better than quantitative evaluation, it can produce the best effect in a lower level of primary and secondary school specially; qualitative evaluation can make a greater promotion in motor skills learning of adolescent girls than quantitative evaluation.5. Qualitative evaluation can correct the attitude of low school students ,with the higher levels of learning ,the effect are declining ;there is significant effects in correcting attitude towards learning between the qualitative and the quantitative evaluation, the quantitative evaluation can correct the girl's attitudes of physical education better than the boy's.6. Qualitative assessment and the combination of qualitative and quantitative evaluation demonstrate the most significant effect in physical education complex and the spirit of cooperation of adolescent students; qualitative assessment can develop the performance of affection and the spirit of cooperation best for girls and the combination of qualitative and quantitative evaluation can develop the performance of affection and the spirit of cooperation best for boys.7. Qualitative evaluation has the most notable function in advancing sports interest of students in primary school, with the rising of study levels, the effects are declining; The combination of qualitative and quantitative evaluation is more beneficial to foster students sport interest in secondary school; the quantitative evaluation can foster students sports interest in high school.8. Qualitative assessment' of students promotion varies due to school paragraph, gender, learning content varies. That is not say qualitative assessment can promote all aspects of sports to all the study levels and gender, it should decide according to different circumstances.
