Since the emergence of mental health education in primary and secondary schools, the building of its specialized courses has always become the hot topics of attention and research among theorists and elementary schools. In this paper, from the angle of the discipline construction, with the methods of literature research, comparison and induction,the author explores the value of mental health education specialized courses, the named curriculum and the definition of meaning, the establishment of the course aim, the choice and organization of the course content, the impact factors and specific requirements of the implementation of the courses, as well as the factors and methods of the evaluation of courses, especially clarifying and analysing the misunderstanding in these aspects at present.
