As Michael Polanyi said, "We can know more than we can tell." This is also the case when it comes to teachers in university. University, which gathers abundant high level knowledge, provides learners with channels of knowledge acquiring, storing, and sharing. Accordingly, it is the development and application ability of knowledge that really counts in the competition among universities. Individual knowledge and experience of teacher alone does not contribute much to the accomplishment. Consequently, how to manage the knowledge of teachers group in universities effectively is turning into the key responsibility of universities and teachers belonging. Knowledge management capability of university teachers is the key of university competition power, and also is the guarantee to the organizational achievement of university."Uncoded knowledge is implied in the surface between what a person known and realized with what he expressed". This paper intends to use the technology of Wiki and knowledge map to reveal the implied knowledge codes, which is gathering collective knowledge and experiences of university teachers, to explicitize the teachers' tacit knowledge, to organize and manage tacit knowledge effectively, and to produce, transfer, and spread knowledge and experiences by sharing and exchanging.Based on the above objectives, the paper will discuss in the following six aspects:The first chapter analyzes the background and recent domestic and abroad teacher collective knowledge management research status. At the same time, the discussion of current research status leads to the thoughts and introducing of main contents of this study and the significance.The second chapter discusses the basis of this study, including the meaning, classification and characteristics of teacher knowledge, the understanding of the objects of collective knowledge management, and then discusses the creating process of management of teachers' collective knowledge.The third chapter is based on the full understanding of the teachers' knowledge, starting from the relationship of knowledge management of university teachers, personal knowledge management of teachers, and collective knowledge management of teachers, gradually introduces the personal explicit knowledge management of teachers, personal tacit knowledge management of teachers and management and sharing of collective knowledge of teachers, reviews the basic theories of collective knowledge management of university teachers.The fourth chapter discusses the execution of collective knowledge management of teachers based on the previous study of basic concepts and theories. This study tries to use the knowledge map tool to establish the collective knowledge map of university teachers, create a collective knowledge management model with the knowledge map combined with Wiki.Chapter five discusses the collective knowledge management system. In addition to using collective knowledge management tools and means to achieve the desired effect, the colleges and universities must establish a reasonable, well-organized system of knowledge management, and provide supports to the system unit of the various components, fully realize the knowledge-sharing through the exchanging and learning mechanism, supported by incentives, assessment mechanisms, achieve finally the ultimate goal and effect of collective knowledge management.The last chapter makes conclusion of this study, analyzes the lack of this study, and discusses deeply the further possible research aspects.
