The Science Popularization can improve and enhance the people to understand and master the knowledge of science and technology, to improve the ability of understanding and reconstruction the natural world. The Science Popularization can also help the people to build up the proper Weltanschauung, Philosophy and Values. Enhancing the Science Popularization is the most important approach to improve the scientific accomplishment of all the citizens in every country. Enhancing the Science Popularization for the nations is a long-term and arduous dynamic object with progressing with times, and also is a eternal pursuing goal.Our party and government pay much more attention to Science Popularization at the present. The "National Long-term Scientific and Technological Development Plan (2006-2020)" was issued at Feb. 9, 2006. In this plan, the layout and deploying in details for the development of science and technology in future 15 years was given. This plan guides the development of national science and technology in the future 15 years. In this guide, the Science Popularization was bringed into the "National Long-term Scientific and Technological Development Plan" for the first time. The enhancing for the Science Popularization was also bringed into the "City Long-term Scientific and Technological Development Plan", as the main part for the Shanghai Municipality developing through Science and Education. It is obvious that the Science Popularization has become the pivotal approach to achieve the Nation and City developing through Science and Education, and has been upgraded as the strategy for the talent education and Science & Technology development.The tenet of physics teaching in middle school is to impart the basic knowledge of physics to students, to train the students using the physics knowledge to solve the phenomena and problems in the livings, productions and researches. The physics teaching in middle school is the basic for the students to enter the higher education for the science and technology, and provides one good platform to culture their science accomplishment. Science Popularization can excitated the learning desire, can improve the understanding and application of the textbook knowledge. The Science Popularization can train the students to better explain the scientific phenomena, to distinguish the verity and falsehood. The Science Popularization can train the students to better solve the problems in the livings, productions and scientific researches. Science Popularization is one of the most important approaches to culture the students' innovation thought, innovation ability and practical ability. The Science Popularization can also culture the students' sense of collective honor, team spirit and patriotism sentiment. On the other hand, the Science Popularization can broaden the views and comprehend the science & technology in the student culture. However, there are many middle students will not learn the science, or have no opportunities to enter the colleges. After middle school graduation, quite a number of these students tend towards the society, and have almost no opportunities to receive the Science Popularization. Therefore, the penetrating Science Popularization in senior high school physics teaching possesses remarkable significance.In this study, the author first introduced the definition, meaning and the significance of the Science Popularization. Then, the progress history of the Science Popularization in domestic and international world, the present status of science accomplishment and Science Popularization in China was analyzed. In the following part, present status of penetrating Science Popularization in senior high school physics teaching and there significance in China was presented. Last, The author took the physics characteristics as concerned, and the strategy, approach and method for the penetrating Science Popularization in senior high school physics teaching were proposed, and hope it is useful for all the teachers. |
