Difficulties And Solution: An Interpretation Of China's Policy On Private Higher Education

It is mainly through formulating and implementing education policies that our country manages and develops private higher education. So the attitude of the government is critical to the existence and development of private higher education. The private higher education couldn't have made rapidly progress without the courage and support of policy since the reform and open policy since the reform and open up policy.In the internationalization current of higher education, private higher education is expecting and depending on more impartial, amicable and harmonious policy environment. In a long period, the private higher education policy was lagging behind the private higher education, and had lots of problems, such as, the incomplete policy, lack of matching policy hard to implement and inefficiently. Because of these difficulties, our private higher education bogs down increasingly. In order to overcome these difficulties, we should research and adjust the present policy and find out the problems of policy which restricts the development of private higher education. Specifically, we should adjust the private higher education policy from three aspects: one is to complete the policy and to optimize the policy environment; the other is to constitute the matching policy and to build the policy system; another is to strengthen administration and to enhance implementing of policy. Only in this way can our private higher education obtain healthy and sustainable development.
